Operating the Lockset:
The lock is opened from outside by NKS key turned in either direction. The lever handle on the inside of the door is pushed up to lock the door. When the lever handle is pushed up this shows as red on the external status indicator and prevents key operation from the outside although emergency access is available via the coin release.
Pushing the internal lever handle down unlocks and opens the door for exit. Once the door is closed again it will automatically lock.

Handing:
Whilst other NKS locksets require handed furniture to be fitted this lockset is suitable for both right and left handed doors as standard.

Lock Case:
The lock case is a standard size for new installation or retro fit. It has a quick reverse latch bolt to suit door handing and stainless steel faceplate and strike plate.

Furniture:
19mm stainless steel return to door safety lever handle, universal fit meaning no handing requirements, bolt through fixings with anti-tamper external heads, an external status indicator and emergency release.

Each lockset includes lock case, furniture, strike plate, all fixing screws and bolts, installation key and fitting instructions.
